hypnotic fire
dear questers…
during summer solstice 2010… my wild self adventured to northern nevada for a desert solo…
making fire is always a treat… being made by fire is even better…
a small hole kept the wind at bay so the fire could get legs….
between me and moon… sat fire…
fire looked to woo… ‘hypnotize me,’ my wild self craved…
the moon’s beam glared into my eyes… tears induced by joy streamed from my eyes but were quickly dried by gusty desert winds…
dancing on sagebrush sand… the fire’s hips swung side to side…
the desert glow turned into solstice flow… slumbering in my body…
for the wild,
gino
p.s.. the fire above is two minutes of the actual fire i was moved by…. my first impression was to narrate the visual but then i woke up…
… let the fire be, my wild self said… so there you go… 2 minutes of unadulterated, hypnotic fire on summer solstice 2010… just stare at… imagine it as a screen saver… imagine it as a soul saver… imagine it as a source of aliveness…
