395 alive

you held me in your mountain range…

warming me in your buckeye spring…

warm water poured on me as river water raced by….

steeping between hot and cold…i brewed myself…

you waited in saline valley… dirt roads into your heart…

palm trees in the midst of desolate wilderness…

my body warmed by noon sun…

my heart warmed by star nights…

my body warmed by nature’s womb…

oh… how sweet you are… tucked in…i felt at home…

nature chants as you let go… the more you go… the more you let in…

flat tire… so humbling… bring my speedy self to a halt…

i love your disciplining ways… you spare the rod…

yet so unforgiving when we leave your map….

bring humility to my silly longings…

drifted to big pine to shine…

i want to mirror you… when in sync… we sink deeper together…

we share stories to restore presence… fear fades… memory dismantles…

you brought me together… energy-like souls… so different outside… so similar inside…

the trust to venture… the trust to share… the trust to feel again…

you so me and i so you…

where did my purpose go awry… where did my longings leave you… where… i ask…

still torn by the back and forth…i wander… not for arrival but for raw inspiration…

sleeping outside brings my psyche to your grace… winds blow… rains drop… branches snap… streams gush… my bodily you and you my body… still…stillness

i run… sometimes walk… sometimes nap… on the pendulum of seriousness and silliness…

i know when i have gone too far… sweet spot so seldom… when silliness and seriousness seduce my dance… lightness grips me… confidence contains me…

let me into ‘good’ days… give the world it’s stuff… give me the spiritual balance between silly seriousness and serious silliness…

i am a man of just a few gifts… mostly an experimenter… so dear mystery… if i stray from the goodness within… it is not because of mischievousness…i am merely mistaken…

mirror me… mirror myself… let the mirror of your map… travel in me….

for the wild,

gino
