can’t twitter silence
fellow questers…
in the world of negotiation… to figure out who is losing… just look around to see who is talking the most… that my friends… is the loser…
while silence in the exterior world is a well known tactic among master negotiators… silence has an equally profound role in developing our holistic self..
we not only negotiate with other people… we also negotiate with our-self…
this negotiation is between our societal self and wild self… and more times than not… our societal self shouts out reasons why it has the best deal for us… of course it does… you can’t tweet silence… the societal self is a doer… not a be-er…
the ‘wild self’ surfaces from many angles… but one thing is constant… it thrives when we silence our societal self…
one thing ‘wild self’ questers like the most about quest walks is the opportunity to engage silence… yes… saying nothing teaches so much…
during silence… intuition is heard… heart is felt… awakening realized… during loudness… we turn outward to see the dream… feels so real yet upon closer proximity to silence…. the veneer of modern experience unravels like a sub-prime mortgage…
silence is a stress test for our societal self… sounds easy but engaging silence can be incredible uncomfortable since shadows of our inner world crawl out to greet us…
yes.. you might be forced to look at your own life and you might not always like what you find but i will tell you this… what surfaces would have surfaced anyways… all life is transparent… even the hidden… no manifestation is without expression…
this journey of exploration is a realization that our main task is to discover our deeper potential and no forum is as potent for this discovery than connecting our body/psyche with the wild…

*the images above are from a personal artistic endeavor that involves an eclectic look at negotiation… so much of my previous studies concerning persuasion were of the serious sort so i wanted to explore the topic from an aesthetically/goofy/experimental twist… below is a rough cut of a trailer…
