fellow questers…

just as joseph campbell reminds us… no journey is done alone… along the way helpers provide amulets to bring us good fortune… to keep spiritual momentum proceeding forward… even when faced with seemingly unconquerable challenges..

paying salute to helpers on my personal journey is of great importance to me… not only does it make me feel light and right… i also believe that in giving back the blessings we receive… we receive multi-fold… reciprocal love of unconditional energies…

below… i share with you a letter i sent out to my good supporters of quests…

hello good friends…

many of you i know from different contexts– graduate school, neighborhood friends, business affiliates, creative partners, spiritual/yoga community, outdoor community–but regardless of context… one thing is constant… you know i am interested in quality of life issues… especially… wellness…

i believe we are on the cusp of re-thinking/re-experiencing what quality of life means… how we want to live in the world… what we want to pass on.. how we want to spend our energy on a day to day basis…

i want to be a part of this effort to re-think/re-experience life… i realize in my life… i’ve been fortunate to be blessed by great mentors… who have taught me much about body, nature, and personal expression… yet it has taken me years to connect these conceptual and experiential dots…

over time… the dots have come together not only for myself but in a way that inspires me to go beyond myself… and  to guide others on their own journeys.. with that realization… i formalized my work under the banner of “the wild self” (http://www.thewildself.com)… to bring under one umbrella… the work i’m doing… and how people are connecting to a way of life that makes them feel light and right….

these light and right experiences are flowing out of my two primary services: ‘wild self’ quest walks and ‘wild self’ desert quests

as a part of the community that has inspired me to reach this point… i would like to share with you the new site (http:/www.thewildself.com)…
